TED NUGENT: Repulsed By Gays, But Not Homophobic

May 23, 2011

Although Ted Nugent is disgusted by homosexuals and considers it unnatural, he claims that he's actually not homophobic. According to The Pulse Of Radio, Nugent appeared on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" (see video below) and explained that despite his leanings against gays in general he would be accepting if his son turned out gay. Nugent, who has made no secret of his loathing of the gay lifestyle, says that ultimately what goes on between two consenting adults doesn't bother him, explaining, "If you're gay, have a nice day. I couldn't give a rat's ass. . . I'm repulsed at the concept of man-on-man sex, I think it's against nature. I think it's strange as hell, but if that's what you are I love ya. . . I'm not going to judge another's morals. I say live and let live. I have friends that are gay."

When asked if he would mind if his son turned out gay, Nugent said, "Not at all. Ultimately all of that stuff is inconsequential."

Nugent told The Pulse Of Radio that he can't believe how anything he says seems to be automatically cast in a negative light. "I mean, it's just insanity how they immediately reduce everything I do to homophobic, sexist, racist, and shameless self-promotion," he said.

Ted Nugent kicks off his next series of shows on June 25 in Green River, Wyoming at Flaming Gorge Days at Stratten Myers Park.
