TENEBRE Part Ways With Guitarist
September 19, 2004Sweden's TENEBRE have parted ways with guitarist Peter Mårdklint. According to a tongue-in-cheek posting on the group's web site, Peter "has left for Australia for studies of feces and will therefore not be a part of TENEBRE anymore."
As a result of Peter's departure, bassist Richard Lion will switch to guitar while the bass duties will be handled by the group's latest addition, Jenny, formerly of the Malmö-based black metal veterans VIRGIN SIN.
TENEBRE are believed to be working on the material for their fifth album, tentatively due next year through Regain Records. Songtitles expected to appear on the CD include "Shine", "Black Void Nirvana", "Silverflame" and "Blue".
TENEBRE released their last album, "Electric Hellfire Kiss", in 2002.
