TERROR: New Song Available For Streaming

June 30, 2010

"Stick Tight", a brand new song from the Los Angeles hardcore/metal band TERROR, can be streamed using the Soundcloud player below. The track comes off the group's fifth album, "Keepers Of The Faith", which is scheduled for release on August 30 in Europe and September 14 in North America via Century Media Records. Doom Patrol will issue the album in Japan on September 1. The CD contains 13 new tracks produced by Chad Gilbert of NEW FOUND GLORY at Buzzbomb Studios in Orange County, California. It was engineered by Paul Miner (DEATH BY STEREO, ADAMANTIUM) and mixed by Matt Hyde (SLAYER, HATEBREED).

Commented frontman Scott Vogel: "It's fucking crazy how this world works. We went to do a cool radio show on the third day of this tour and played a new song without even thinking. Hours later it was online so I guess we might as well just launch this new track everywhere. This way people can get the true version. The lyrics are on the blog, too. I also just heard the test press of the seven-inch single for 'Keepers of The Faith' and it sounds fucking great.

"This is the record we put everything we have into, from the music to the lyrics, the layout to the title and to the direct hand-to-hand street marketing approach, we are putting it all on the line. We took all the rules of what's going on in the industry today and washed them from our minds. We wanted to capture those early days of hardcore. This is the record we were destined to make. This is TERROR at its best and I'm so excited to get this out and start touring surrounding its energy and passion."

In a recent interview with Way Too Loud!Scott Vogel stated about the songwriting process for the new album, "Nick [Jett, drums] wrote the last two records. We also have a new guitarist, Jordan [Posner], who's writing some stuff because we really like what he's written, then me and Nick will go through the songs and figure out what we like and what we don't like, I'll write lyrics and put words to it, and hopefully we have a some good songs. Do that about 18 times and pick the 13 best, and put out a record!" Bassist David Wood added, "This album will be different for TERROR. It's faster, maybe thrashier and a bit more melodic. I think it's going to be on a good street level, good hardcore reality. I'm really excited about it!"

TERROR's latest full-length album, "The Damned, The Shamed", was released in June 2008 via Century Media Records. The CD was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who has previously worked with HATEBREED and SHADOWS FALL, among many others.
