May 23, 2008

An interview with TERSBETONI vocalist Jarkko Ahola conducted by Get In The Pit TV's Toni Trrnen on April 26, 2008 in Tampere, Finland can be viewed below (interview in Finnish with English subtitles by Night Elves). The chat took place in the backstage shower room of an event called Hot Rod & Rock Show where TERSBETONI performed that day.

TERSBETONI will represent Finland in this year's Eurovision Song Contest final, which will take place tomorrow (Saturday, May 24) in Belgrade, Serbia.

The band's "Miss Miehet Ratsastaa" ("Where [the] Men Ride") was among the ten songs selected by SMS and televoting earlier this week to go forward from the first semi-final.

"Myrskyntuoja", the third and latest album from TERSBETONI, was recently certified gold in the band's home country for sales in excess of 15,000 copies. The CD was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, APOCALYPTICA, THE 69 EYES),who previously worked with TERSBETONI on the group's last LP, the gold-certified (in Finland) "Vaadimme metallia", which came out in 2006.
