TESTAMENT Comments On Upcoming U.K. Tour

January 19, 2009

Chuck Billy (vocals) and Eric Peterson (guitar) of Bay Area thrash metal veterans TESTAMENT have checked in to let the U.K. fans know just how excited they are about their upcoming tour.

"We're very excited to play more than just 1 or 2 shows in the U.K.," says Peterson. "The last time we did an extensive tour was with BLACK SABBATH on 'The Ritual' tour in '93 - '94. At that time, we weren't playing the songs we're playing now, so we're excited to be on top of our game and to play in front of one of our favorite countries. God Save The Queen... we mean it man!"

Billy is equally enthused: "We haven't done a proper U.K. tour in I can't remember how long. Everybody's looking forward to getting back to the markets we haven't played in the last ten years. England's always been a good touring circuit for us, and we're also looking forward to get back and play the Wembley Arena again. We're excited to be playing all of 'The Legacy' and 'The New Order' at our special London show at the end of the tour. TESTAMENT is looking forward to seeing all the English metalheads!"
