TESTAMENT: New Video Interview With CHUCK BILLY Available

Elliot Levin of the New York Hard Rock Examiner conducted an interview with vocalist Chuck Billy of San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans TESTAMENT before the band's March 18, 2010 performance in Scranton, Pennsylvania with MEGADETH and EXODUS. You can now watch the chat below.

Canadian guitarist Glen Drover (ex-MEGADETH, KING DIAMOND, EIDOLON) is filling in for Alex Skolnick on TESTAMENT's current tour with MEGADETH and EXODUS, which kicked off on March 1 in Spokane, Washington and will run through the end of the month.

TESTAMENT is performing its first-ever album, "The Legacy", in its entirety during the month-long trek that finds these thrash titans crisscrossing the nation on the "Rust in Peace" 20th anniversary tour. In this monstrously massive celebration of metal, TESTAMENT felt it was time to throw down the gauntlet and bring people back to the roots of their visceral and vice-tight music, re-invoking songs which helped lay the foundation for a thrash generation. "We wanted to give the fans something different," said Chuck Billy. "We wanted to play these songs which have not been played since we've been touring [the latest TESTAMENT album] 'The Formation Of Damnation'."

TESTAMENT's highly acclaimed 2008 release, "The Formation Of Damnation", was reissued on February 23 in a deluxe tour edition. The two-disc edition includes the band's comeback album plus bonus footage of classic tracks and more.
