TESTAMENT To Take Part in SIRIUS XM's 'Artist Confidential' Series Next Month

July 29, 2009

Sirius XM radio is assembling a small audience of friends and listeners of TESTAMENT for a special performance as part of the "Artist Confidential" series on the evening of August 10, 2009 in New York City (Manhattan).

The seating for this program is extremely limited. A total of fifteen (15) spots are being offered to TESTAMENT fans on a "first-come, first-served" basis determined by when an email is received at Sirius XM radio. Each winner can bring one guest.

If you are interested, are at least 18 years old, and are 100% confident that you can be in New York City on August 10, 2009, send an e-mail, complete with your full name, contact information (valid e-mail and cell phone number) to [email protected].

Sirius XM radio will NOT be providing transportation to/from the event.

Make sure to include "TESTAMENT" in the subject line of your message to [email protected] or your email will not be considered.

If you are selected to attend, you will receive a second email with the exact time of the event and further instructions. Only people who have received this second email (and have been confirmed by Sirius XM radio) will be put on the guest list and will be able to attend.

"Artist Confidential" features the most important and timeless artists in music sitting down for candid interviews, intimate conversations with fans and live performances.

The show is scheduled to air later this year on Sirius XM's Liquid Metal, Sirius channel 27 and XM channel 42.

TESTAMENT recently canceled its previously announced South American dates in September in order to focus on recording the follow-up to its acclaimed 2008 album, "The Formation Of Damnation".

TESTAMENT has been touring non-stop in support of "The Formation Of Damnation", including this year's Priest Feast tour in Europe with JUDAS PRIEST and a phenomenal run on the Metal Masters tour last summer with HEAVEN & HELL and MOTÖRHEAD.

Two classic albums by TESTAMENT — 1997's "Demonic" and 1999's "The Gathering" — were reissued on gatefold double vinyl by Prosthetic Records on February 3. Each features etched artwork on Side D and is limited to 1,000 copies worldwide. Additionally, 100 copies of "Demonic" feature red vinyl, while 100 copies of "The Gathering" feature gold vinyl.

Fan-filmed video footage of TESTAMENT performing the classic track "Over The Wall" this past Monday night (July 20) at the Corporation in Sheffield, United Kingdom can be viewed below (clip uploaded by Dave Ingham a.k.a. YouTube user "triptykon").
