THAUROROD Begins Recording New Album

November 29, 2012

Finnish/Swedish power metallers THAUROROD will enter Rockstar Productions studio in the band's hometown of Hyvinkää, Finland to start recording their new album for an early 2013 release.

Commented the band: "Finally the time has come! We are proud to announce that THAUROROD will enter the studio for drum recordings of second studio album today, 29th of November! The band is feeling stronger than ever! We have had pretty hectic rehearsal period over the last weeks and the songs sounds absolutely fucking mind-blowing!"

THAUROROD recently announced the addition of Swedish singer Andi Kravljaca (SILENT CALL, SEVENTH WONDER) to the group's ranks.

Commented the band: "We made two shows with Andi in Finland warming up for WINTERSUN and everything felt amazing and we had so much fun together! He easily impressed the band and the audiences with his energetic performances on both shows... what a crazy dude on stage!"

THAUROROD parted ways with Italian singer Michele Luppi in July. They attributed the split to the fact that Luppi "[didn't] have enough time for THAUROROD" and the group's desire to find someone who was "more motivated [and] who share[d] the same passion and hunger to go on with THAUROROD as the rest of the band."

THAUROROD's debut album, "Upon Haunted Battlefields", came out in Europe on September 24, 2010 via NoiseArt Records and Rock The Nation.
