THE 69 EYES' Official Red Wine Launched

Finnish gothic metallers THE 69 EYES have released their own signature red wine.

Official wine description: "Love is red. Just like the lips of Juliet. Not far from that balcony of hers comes this Veronese wine. The Helsinki Vampires have always been known for their love of wine, women and song. THE 69 EYES' wine is red. Just like your lips."

THE 69 EYES' new album, "X", sold around 1,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The effort landed at position No. 17 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

As previously reported, "X" entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 47 and the Finnish chart at No. 4. The CD, which was released in Europe on September 28 via Nuclear Blast Records, was mixed by Stefan Boman (THE HELLACOPTERS, BULLET).

THE 69 EYES filmed a video for the song "Red" in July with Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, SONIC SYNDICATE and KAMELOT, among others.
