THE 69 EYES To Tour Europe With TIAMAT

Finnish goth metallers THE 69 EYES will team up with Sweden's TIAMAT for a European tour in February/March 2009. The dates are as follows:

THE 69 EYES released its first-ever live album, "Hollywood Kills - Live At The Whisky A Go Go", on January 16 through Virgin Finland.

THE 69 EYES' latest studio album, "Angels", was released in the UK by Albert Productions. The CD is out through Virgin/EMI elsewhere in Europe, through Caroline Records in the USA and through Toshiba/EMI in Japan.

"Angels" went straight to #1 on the Finnish album chart in its first week of release. "Perfect Skin", the first single release from the CD, entered the Finnish chart at No. 1. The next single, "Never Say Die", was also in the top 10 of the most played songs on the Finnish national radio airplay chart. All THE 69 EYES albums and the DVD "Helsinki Vampires" since 2000's "Blessed Be" have gone gold in Finland; "Paris Kills" and "Devils" have also achieved platinum status.
