THE ABSENCE Pulls Out Of ENTOMBED Tour

November 9, 2006

Tampa, Florida's THE ABSENCE has issued the following update:

"We regretfully announce THE ABSENCE will be pulling out of the ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER, GRAVE tour this December because of several unresolved problems with our booking agent. We apologize to all the fans that were looking forward to those dates and promise to see you again soon!

"In other news, we are super excited to announce that we are going into Mana Studios (Florida) at the beginning of the year to track the new record. Taking control of production this time around will be Swede Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY, CARNAL FORGE). The record will also be mixed by Jonas at his studio Black Lounge (Sweden). We are all huge fans of his work and are anxious to hear what he does with THE ABSENCE!"

THE ABSENCE's debut album, "From Your Grave", came out in September 2005 via Metal Blade Records.
