THE ACACIA STRAIN Confirmed For SAINTS AND SINNERS FESTIVAL

October 19, 2006

Massachusetts' THE ACACIA STRAIN has been confirmed for Asbury Park, NJ's Saints and Sinners Festival alongside labelmates ALL THAT REMAINS and THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD on Oct. 29, the last day of the two-day festival.

Fresh off completing a tour directly supporting CALIBAN and select shows with labelmates LIGHT THIS CITY, the group's appearance at Saints and Sinners will be the first after its appearance at Worcester, MA's Rock and Shock 2006 festival last weekend and one of two scheduled appearances prior to departing on a month-long tour on the Draven Shoes- and Decibel magazine-sponsored tour alongside labelmates THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD with FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW and IF HOPE DIES. THE ACACIA STRAIN will also play a CMJ showcase on Nov. 11 with PSYOPUS, SINCE THE FLOOD, INTRONAUT and ALL SHALL PERISH.

THE ACACIA STRAIN continues to support its new record, "The Dead Walk", which previously entered the Billboard Heatseekers chart at #40 behind strong first-week numbers. "The Dead Walk" was produced by Adam Dutkiewicz (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) and features in-depth artwork and layout from veteran artist Paul Romano (MASTODON, THE RED CHORD).
