THE AGONIST: New Shows Announced

Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based band THE AGONIST ahs scheduled the following dates:

July 19 - The Casbah - Hamilton, Ontario, CAN
July 25 - Le National - Montreal, Quebec, CAN

Canada's HardTimes.ca conducted an interview with THE AGONIST vocalist Alissa White-Gluz in early June when the band supported GOD FORBID and DEATH ANGEL for two shows in Quebec. Watch the nine-minute chat below.

A THE AGONIST e-card is available, featuring video messages from Alissa White-Gluz discussing the meaning behind each track on the group's debut CD, "Once Only Imagined", along with their first music video for the track "Business Suits and Combat Boots", shot by renowned director David Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, GWAR, THE RED CHORD). "Once Only Imagined" tackles some of society's biggest issues, including animal testing, drug abuse, eating disorders, environmental protection and man's inhumanity towards man and animals. The band's ultimate goal, though, is simply to encourage people to think for themselves.
