THE AGONY SCENE Part Ways With Drummer, Seek Replacement

June 9, 2006

According to a posting on THE AGONY SCENE's official MySpace page, the Tulsa, OK-based band have parted ways with drummer Brent Masters. No reason was given for Masters' departure.

THE AGONY SCENE are currently seeking a replacement drummer. If you are serious about auditioning for the vacant drum spot, send an e-mail to the band's vocalist, Michael Williams, at [email protected] for more information.

On the subject of Masters' sudden departure from the group, Williams stated in an online posting, "We will not respond to questions about Brent no longer being in the band. Don't bother asking."

THE AGONY SCENE's latest album, "The Darkest Red", was released in May of 2005 via Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to the group's 2003 self-titled debut was produced by Rob Caggiano (ANTHRAX, CRADLE OF FILTH).
