THE ALIEN BLAKK: New Album Title Announced

February 24, 2009

THE ALIEN BLAKK, the band led by guitarist/producer Joshua Craig, will release its sophomore album, "Bekoming", in the third quarter of 2009. The CD will feature guest appearances Deron Miller (CKY),Eric A.K. (FLOTSAM AND JETSAM),Kevin Talley (DAATH),Donnie Hamby (DOUBLE DRIVE) as well as contributions from the band's current lineup, which includes David Ellefson (bass; MEGADETH),Craig Nielsen (drums; FLOTSAM AND JETSAM) and Joshua Craig.

Commented Craig, "I am completely done with all recording, editing, re-animating and all things related to having to send this effort off to be mixed.

"I have been in the studio for nearly 15 months and was also writing this material for over two years prior. That makes for over a three-year endeavor. I have also written a book during the same time period and it will be out in February of 2010. More on that front later.

"During this recording process, I have utilized the services of studios in Phoenix, Az., Scottsdale, Az., San Antonio, TX., Atlanta, Ga., Los Angeles, Ca., Malibu, Ca. and Mesa Az. I actually didn't realize this would take so long once the process began, but nothing good ever came to anyone who didn't put forth the effort into their dream and commit to seeing it through until the end.

"I have spent all of the money I have made in my life on this situation and am now having this mixed. I would also like to mention that there are others who are making guest appearances on this effort, and that information will be made public at a later date and time."
