THE ALMIGHTY Bassist To Raise Money For Leukemia Research

THE ALMIGHTY bassist Floyd London is getting his walking boots on to once again raise money for leukemia research following his gruelling battle with the cancer and the band's benefit shows at the beginning of the year which raised a total of £25,000 for the charity.

Floyd will join Ian Botham on October 9 for a 12-mile walk in Glasgow.

Floyd was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in September 2004 and was given a 50/50 chance of survival. He has been in remission for two years but must make it to five years before being given the all-clear.
