THE ALMIGHTY Frontman Announces Title Of New Solo Album

April 15, 2008

THE ALMIGHTY frontman Ricky Warwick has set "Belfast Confetti" as the title of his third solo album, tentatitvely due in September. "I am six songs into recording and some of the new song titles are 'Throwin' Dirt', 'Angel Of Guile' and the title track, 'Belfast Confetti'," says Warwick.

He adds, "These songs were unexpected, hidden deep inside me, in a voice I had yet to find.

"We get older and we forget about the learning part of life, or we feel we are done learning. I have learned a lot lately, I feel reborn in a way, and excited about music and the promise it extends to all who truly want to be a part of the story.

"I hope you recognize yourself, or maybe an uncle or a friend in these songs. They all came along for the journey."

Ricky Warwick will support LIFE OF AGONY singer Keith Caputo on a number of European shows in April/May.

Commented Warwick: "I opened for Keith at the tail end of 2007. It was a lot fun, Keith is a good friend and an artist I really admire."
