THE ALMIGHTY To Embark On '20th Anniversary Tour'

January 2008 marks 20 years since THE ALMIGHTY first got together and started rehearsing before going on to world domination (well...almost).

To commemorate their 20th anniversary, Ricky Warwick (vocals, guitar),Pete Friesen (guitars),Floyd London (bass) and Stumpy Monroe (drums) have announced that they will be hitting the road hard and tearing the roof off 10 venues around the UK in January 2008 on the "20th Anniversary Tour" sponsored by Classic Rock magazine. Feb. 01 - London Mean Fiddler

THE ALMIGHTY issued its first-ever comprehensive career retrospective, entitled "Anth'f**ing'ology (The Gospel According To...)", in CD/DVD format on February 5 via Sanctuary/Castle. The set includes all of the band's thirteen U.K. singles plus bonus tracks taken from all of its seven studio albums to date. The DVD features all the promo videos for all the singles.
