THE ANSWER: European Headlining Shows Announced

THE ANSWER, four lads hailing from Downpatrick in Northern Ireland, will play the following headlining shows during their European tour as the opening act for AC/DC:

March 06 - D-Cologne - Underground
March 10 - D-Stuttgart - Die Röhre
March 14 - NL-Amsterdam - Melkweg
March 18 - D-Munich - Backstage
March 24 - A-Vienna - Szene
March 28 - CH-Lucerne - Konzerthaus Schuur

THE ANSWER, has made a new song "Demon Eyes" available for free download at Spin.com. The track comes off the band's forthcoming second album, "Everyday Demons", which will be released in Europe on March 2, 2009 via the German record label Steamhammer/SPV. The CD was produced by John Travis (KID ROCK, STATIC-X, etc.) and mixed by Tim Palmer and Mike Fraser (who recently mixed AC/DC's "Black Ice").

"We've been on tour almost constantly for two years, have seen a lot of the world and made a lot of important experiences — a development that you can hear on 'Everyday Demons'," says guitarist Paul Mahon.

THE ANSWER's debut North American title "Never Too Late", is a limited-edition two-disc set that bundles a four-song EP and a bonus DVD featuring previously unreleased footage.

Recently included on Rolling Stone's Hot List, THE ANSWER is made up of Cormac Neeson (lead vocals),Paul Mahon (guitar),Micky Waters (bass) and James Heatley (drums). In Europe and the U.K. — where their major awards include Best New UK Band at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards — they've opened shows for THE ROLLING STONES, THE WHO, AEROSMITH and other legendary acts. THE ANSWER has also headlined tours in the U.K., Europe, Japan and Australia, where their first album "Rise" won significant critical and popular acclaim.
