THE ANSWER Frontman Interviewed On 'From Out Of Nowhere Podcast' (Audio)

August 10, 2012

The "From Out Of Nowhere Podcast - Special Music Unit" recently conducted an interview with vocalist Cormac Neeson of Irish rockers THE ANSWER about their latest release, the "Rise" EP, touring the United States with AC/DC and plans for a North American tour. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.

"Rise", named after THE ANSWER's previously unreleased track, came out on July 2 via the band's own The Answer Productions label. The EP consists of a new 2012 radio edit mix of "Rise", an extended full-length version, a very special acoustic/orchestral version and a brand new mix of another rockin' gem called "Lost".

In a recent interview with Glasswerk, Neeson stated about "Rise", "It's a bit different to anything we've done before. The title track, 'Rise', has a forty-piece orchestra playing on it for a start. It's a great tune that has been kicking around for a while. But we feel that now is the time for people to hear it, so here's hoping our fanbase will enjoy it because we're proud of it!! There's also a belter of a tune on there called 'Lost' which is probably the most Celtic-sounding track in our repertoire. All in all, it's a great EP...but I would say that."

"Rise" EP track listing:

01. Rise (radio edit)
02. Lost (2012 mix)
03. Rise (full version)
04. Rise (acoustic / orchestral version)
