THE BLACK LEAGUE Part Ways With Drummer, Bassist
April 3, 2005Drummer Kimmo "Sir" Luttinen and bassist Mikko Laurila have officially left THE BLACK LEAGUE, the Finnish band fronted by former SENTENCED vocalist Taneli Jarva. Guitarist Maike Valanne and Jarva will reportedly continue making music under THE BLACK LEAGUE banner.
THE BLACK LEAGUE's third full-length album, "Man's Ruin Revisited", was released in January 2004 through Ranch Records (subsidiary of Spinefarm). The follow-up to 2001's "Utopia A.D." was recorded at Seawolf Studios in Suomenlinna (just outside Helsinki).
