THE CHELSEA SMILES Signs With DR2/DEMOLITION RECORDS

THE CHELSEA SMILES, a rock 'n roll/glam band formed in 2004 featuring guitarist Todd Youth (ex-MURPHYS LAW, D-GENERATION, DANZIG),bassist Johnny Martin and drummer Karl "Rockfist" Rosqvist, has signed a worldwide licensing deal with DR2/Demolition Records to release the group's new CD. The as-yet-untitled album is due in early 2009.

THE CHELSEA SMILES has toured with SOCIAL DISTORTION, BACKYARD BABIES and the NEW YORK DOLLS.

The band has been recording with Howard Willing (SMASHING PUMPKINS, LIZ PHAIR, OK GO). In between recording, Youth has been touring with country music star Glen Campbell.

Commented manager Jon Nelson of DevCo Entertainment, LLC: "We are extremely excited to be working with Eric, Ged, Polly, Jen and everyone at DR2/Demolition Records. I have previously worked with them on some other releases and they are willing to put the time and effort into breaking bands. They are hard-working and get results.
