THE CRIMSON ARMADA: Second 'Conviction' Studio Webisode Available

March 21, 2011

The second in a series of webisodes featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of "Conviction", the new album from Westerville, Ohio's THE CRIMSON ARMADA, can be viewed below. The follow-up to 2009's "Guardians" is currently being recorded with producer Brian Hood (A PLEA FOR PURGING, HOPE FOR THE DYING) for a summer release via Artery Recordings, the joint venture between The Artery Foundation and Razor & Tie.

THE CRIMSON ARMADA recently parted ways with guitarist Josh Jardim and drummer David Puckett and replaced them with Brandon McMaster (formerly of SLEEPING WITH SIRENS) and Jordan Matz (formerly of LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES),respectively.

Commented the band: "Josh and David left the band earlier this year on mutual terms and with zero hard feelings. Both of them decided that a career in full-time touring was not for them and are pursuing other non-musical endeavors.

"Again, this is NO bad blood between us (some of us actually all still live together off tour). We are really excited to have Brandon and Jordan and to continue on the new direction for THE CRIMSON ARMADA.

"This change in lineup does not affect our style or ANY of our material at all.

"David and Josh's decision to leave the band was thought out as far back as early fall 2010 before the MISS MAY I tour. We wish them the best and are stoked to move on with the new and improved CRIMSON lineup."

THE CRIMSON ARMADA is a group of five young metalheads who are about metal as much as they are having a good time and spreading a positive message.

Formed in early 2007, THE CRIMSON ARMADA came together to go beyond just playing metal by paying tribute to various forms of the heavy style, combining their diverse influences and their spiritual messages encrypted within the lyrics — something that fans who choose to look into the deeper meaning of the lyrics will find uplifting all whilst experiencing THE CRIMSON ARMADA's truly heavy style of playing.
