THE CULT: UK Dates Announced

THE CULT has scheduled the following UK dates:

Feb. 22 - Forum London
Feb. 28 - Carling Academy Birmingham
Mar. 01 - Manchester Academy

Vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy of THE CULT will guest on controversial national talk radio host Bubba the Love Sponge's weekday show on Tuesday, October 30 between 3 and 7 p.m. on Sirius Satellite Radio (channel Howard 101).

THE CULT's latest album, "Born into This", sold 12,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 70 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was recorded in London with producer Youth (VERVE, PRIMAL SCREAM).

THE CULT is currently headlining the fall 2007 installment of the hugely popular Jagermeister Music Tour. The trek kicked off on October 17 and runs through mid-December. The bill is rounded out by VIETNAM, THE CLIKS, and ACTION ACTION.

THE CULT's current touring lineup includes principals Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy alongside bassist Chris Wyse, drummer John Tempesta (ex-WHITE ZOMBIE, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, HELMET) and rhythm guitarist Mike Dimkich.
