THE CURSED Featuring OVERKILL, Ex-HADES Members: Debut Album Completed

December 12, 2006

THE CURSED, the new band featuring vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth (OVERKILL) and former HADES guitarist Dan Lorenzo, recently finished the recording of their Screaming Ferret Wreckords debut, tentatively titled "Room Full of Sinners". MP3s of two songs — "Leven Als God in Frankrijk" (Living like a God in France) and the single "Evil, In The Bag" — will be added to THE CURSEDweb site as well as the recently launched THE CURSEDMySpace page on January 1. The band, who also feature bassist Job The Raver (MURDER 1) and drummer Mike Cristi (NON-FICTION),have placed their first official group photos to both sites as well.

THE CURSED recorded and mixed their debut CD for Screaming Ferret Wreckords at Crystal Studios in New Jersey, before and after OVERKILL's successful stint on the Gigantour, which also featured MEGADETH and LAMB OF GOD. Mike Koenig from Crystal Studios engineered.

"I can't wait for people to hear this CD," said Lorenzo. "People have never heard Blitz sing like this, he has some Bon Scott and Steven Tyler in him."

Lorenzo continued, "Our upcoming single, 'Evil, In The Bag', is real catchy and there are some really heavy songs on this CD, but there are a couple songs that will surprise people. The entire disc is solid."
