THE DEFILED Comments On MURDERDOLLS Tour, Upcoming Debut Album Release

January 5, 2011

London metallers THE DEFILED have been confirmed as openers on the U.K. leg of the upcoming MURDERDOLLS tour. Also appearing on the bill is BLACK VEIL BRIDES.

Commented THE DEFILED frontman Stitch D.: "We can't wait to be a part of this tour! Having been fans of MURDERDOLLS for some time, it's gonna be great to be sharing the stage with 'em every night. It'll be our first outing in 2011 promoting our new album, so we're looking forward to be playing more new stuff! The amount of hairspray and make up used between the three bands on the bill could reach new heights! Who needs an ozone layer anyway?"

THE DEFILED's debut album, "Grave Times", is scheduled for release on Valentine's Day 2011 via Raise The Game Records. The CD will also be covermounted on the next issue of Metal Hammer magazine, which hits the shelves on January 12, 2011, putting the debut album straight into the hands of tens of thousands of metalheads.

Commented THE DEFILED keyboard player The AvD: "We had been gearing up to release our new album for ages. We were at the final mixing stages when we got a call from Hammer asking us if we would like to release it as a covermount on the magazine in the New Year. For us it was a no-brainer. We have always said that we don't give a fuck about record sales, we just want our music to be heard by as many people as possible and I can't think of a better way to do that other than this! So we are very proud to announce that we are giving out our album for free on Metal Hammer's January issue!"
