THE DESTINY PROGRAM Announces New Drummer

April 14, 2009

German hardcore/metal act THE DESTINY PROGRAM (formerly DESTINY) has issued the following update:

"We have some great news concerning our lineup. Finally we found a new drummer!! It's our longtime friend Christian Bass who played in bands like NIGHT IN GALES, WHITE EYES, DEADSOIL and helped out our friends in HEAVEN SHALL BURN and DEW-SCENTED live for several times. It feels good to be a four-piece again.

"We just finished writing our upcoming full-length that will be recorded in June and released later this year. We are also already talking with some interested record labels about a possible release."

Upcoming THE DESTINY PROGRAM shows:

May 15 - Klagenfurt, AUT @ Quadrat
May 16 - Wiener Neudorf, AUT @ Mad Stage Open Air Festival
May 17 - Aarau, CH @ KiFF
May 19 - Berlin, GER @ Magnet
May 20 - Augsburg, GER @ Kantine
May 22 - Goslar, GER @ JUZ B6
May 23 - Chemnitz, GER @ Bunker

THE DESTINY PROGRAM's latest CD, "Subversive Blueprint", was released in September 2007 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2004's "The Tracy Chapter" (Lifeforce Records) was recorded with producers Anders Fridén (IN FLAMES) and Daniel Bergstrand and was mixed by Tue Madsen at his Antfarm studio in Denmark.

THE DESTINY PROGRAM's video for the song "Project Hoax", which was shot August 3-5, 2007 in Berlin with the True Jokx Videoproduction team, can be viewed below.
