THE DEVIL'S BLOOD Completes Work On 'Come, Reap' EP

August 26, 2008

The Satanic rock n' roll cult from The Netherlands THE DEVIL'S BLOOD has completed work on its debut EP. Entitled "Come, Reap" (and lurking within the 30-minute mark),this ritual will prepare THE DEVIL'S BLOOD to make its cursed presence felt even more with its signature brand of horror soul vintage psychedelic '70s-inspired rock, all in homage to the all mighty adversary.

Following the well-received "Graveyard Shuffle" 7", the cult of THE DEVIL'S BLOOD has already generated quite a following and proved to stand alone and defiant amongst the current wave of psych-influenced rock surfacing today. Channeling its frenzied chaos and banishing all that is holy by being inspired by the aesthetics of such classic acts as BLACK WIDOW, JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, BLUE CHEER, ROKY ERIKSON, COVEN and BLACK SABBATH, "Come, Reap" will undoubtedly define itself as one of the most majestic-sounding EPs to be released this year. Even though THE DEVIL'S BLOOD is fueled and inspired by said era, they are not to be considered a "tribute act" of sorts, but instead offers material that will hold its own merit and carve its own identity in today's underground musical scenario.

"Come, Reap" track listing:

01. Come, Reap
02. River Of Gold
03. The Heavens Cry Out (For The Devil's Blood)
04. White Faces (ROKY ERIKSON cover)
05. Voodoo Dust

An MP3 of "The Heavens Cry Out (For The Devil's Blood)" is available for download at this location.

Look for "Come, Reap" to be unleashed this November through Profound Lore Records (and around the same time in the Europe via Van Records).
