
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Begin Recording New Album
April 23, 2004Relapse Records recording artists THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN have begun the recording of their new full-length album, entitled "Miss Machine".
The innovative band are recording at both NYC's Mission and Water recording studios with Steve Evetts (HATEBREED, THE CURE, SEPULTURA, etc). The much-anticipated follow up to "Calculating Infinity", "Miss Machine" will be mixed at NYC's Quad Recording Studios and is slated for a July 20, 2004 U.S. release date via Relapse. "Miss Machine" will be released August 2 in Europe. Advance song titles include "Panasonic Youth", "Baby's First Coffin", "Bipolar Bear", "Apollos Creed" and "Universal Beauty".
Guitarist Ben Weinman commented, " 'Miss Machine' encompasses everything that we are about, everything we have been through as a band and everything that is important to us. We have enjoyed touring these past couple of years, but it is now time for new DILLINGER music to surface."
