THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Named MTV 'Advance Warning' Artist

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN have been named one of MTV's December 2004 "Advance Warning" artists based on the strength of their new video. The video, for the song "Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants", made its world premiere on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" this past weekend and comes from DILLINGER's critically acclaimed new release, "Miss Machine".

"Advance Warning" brings MTV and MTV2 viewers artists on the verge of breaking big. THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN appear amongst current network "Advance Warning" artists TV ON THE RADIO, RIDDLIN' KIDS and NICOLE WRAY. DILLINGER's "Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants" video and information on this month's "Advance Warning" artists can be found on MTV.com at this location. Past "Advance Warning" artists include FRANZ FERDINAND, MODEST MOUSE, A.F.I., LOSTPROPHETS, TAKING BACK SUNDAY and THE VON BONDIES.

DILLINGER's "Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants" video was filmed on location in Union City, NJ with director Dale Resteghini (FALL OUT BOY, HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL) and features THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN performing as a part of an evolving story line, also starring Jose Mangin, rock programmer at Sirius Satellite radio and host of the network's "Hard Attack" program.
