THE DISSOCIATIVES To Perform On Australian TV

June 6, 2004

THE DISSOCIATIVES, the collaboration between SILVERCHAIR frontman Daniel Johns and dance producer/artist Paul Mac, will kick off their Australian tour at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, June 7 with a performance on ABC TV's "Enough Rope With Andrew Denton".

The band will perform a song live and Daniel Johns will also conduct the most in-depth Australian TV interview of his career. It is understood that Daniel will be asked to clarify the future status of SILVERCHAIR during this interview and he is expected to put all the rumors to rest once and for all.

The night after this TV appearance, THE DISSOCIATIVES and LITTLE BIRDY will kick off their national tour in Tasmania. They will then head to Melbourne and Adelaide for the weekend before travelling around Australia through the rest of June and into July. They will finish their tour with an appearance at the Splendor in the Grass Festival in Byron Bay.

In other DISSOCIATIVES news, the second single from the group's acclaimed album was released last week. It's called "Young Man Old Man" and it features three bonus tracks which aren't available anywhere else. International release dates for the album have yet to be announced.
