THE DIVINING Signs With 1x1 MUSIC

December 14, 2006

Philadelphia, PA's THE DIVINING has inked a deal with 1x1 Music.

According to a press release, THE DIVINING delivers "a refreshing mixture of thrash and heavy metal, sure to bring back memories of the days when bands like AT THE GATES, PANTERA, and TESTAMENT were among the genre's elite."

THE DIVINING will begin recording its 1x1 Music debut, "Revelation of the Lost", this month at Labyrinth Sound (LAMB OF GOD's "Killadelphia", Hellfest DVD series, New England Metal and Hardcore Fest DVD series) in Cherry Hill, NJ and with Eric Rachel (GOD FORBID, A LIFE ONCE LOST) at Trax East.

Commented singer Domenic Rocco: "'Revelation of the Lost' is a huge improvement on our sound. We've added a lot of new elements to our music and have written several tracks that will express our dynamic influences as a band. The riffs are much stronger and we just spent a lot of time tweaking everything to put together a record that we could be proud of."

THE DIVINING has completed tours with ONE DEAD THREE WOUNDED and LOKYATA as well as a full U.S. tour in the summer 2005 and an East Coast trek in January 2006. THE DIVINING has also shared the stage with such bands as BLEEDING THROUGH, CALIBAN, SWORN ENEMY, FULL BLOWN CHAOS, THE MINOR TIMES, HIMSA, HASTE THE DAY, SCARS OF TOMORROW, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, ARSIS, ION DISSONANCE, DEATH BY STEREO, THE BANNER, BLACKLISTED, AUGUST BURNS RED, and LIGEIA, to name a few.

Look for "Revelation of the Lost" from THE DIVINING during the spring of 2007 on 1x1 Music.
