THE DUSKFALL Cancels German Dates, Books Studio Time
December 20, 2006Swedish metallers THE DUSKFALL have issued the following update:
"We are sad to inform you that we are forced to cancel the 2 shows in Germany in January 2007. Both K17 and Winternoise festival will be cancelled. The reason is Mike's [Mikael Sandorf, guitar] need of a time out from all music duties due to personal problems and no temporary guitarist will be drafted for these two shows as it's too short notice. This will have no impact on the recordings of the upcoming CD, to be recorded in April 2007. Thanx for your understanding and patience!"
THE DUSKFALL recently announced the addition of bassist Matte Järnil (ex-21ST IMPACT) to the group's ranks. Järnil replaces former member Marco Eronen, who left THE DUSKFALLin July 2006 to focus on his main band, RAISED FIST.
THE DUSKFALL's third album, "Lifetime Supply of Guilt", is available now on Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Source" was produced by Daniel Bergstrand, who has previously worked with IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH and STUCK MOJO, among others. Mastering duties were handled at the Cutting Room in Solna, Sweden.
