February 20, 2007

Canadian quintet THE END has completed work on the first video from its acclaimed new album "Elementary". The video, for the track "Throwing Stones", was shot in Toronto, ON with director Jeff Schevin for Soft Citizen (TV ON THE RADIO, ALEXISONFIRE, CONTROLLER.CONTROLLER) and producer Dallas Dyer. Still shots from the video shoot can be viewed at this location.

In other news, THE END kicks off its first batch of U.S. tour dates in support of "Elementary" with POISON THE WELL and THIS IS HELL this Thursday, February 22 in Tallahassee, FL. This first run of dates precedes the band's stint as support on the first half of POISON THE WELL's full U.S. tour this spring along with FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES and HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW. THE END will also meet up with CANCER BATS and JOHNNY TRUANT for another tour in March covering ground in Ontario, Canada.
