THE EVIL AMIDST To Film 'Decreator' Video

January 5, 2011

THE EVIL AMIDST, the South Florida-based "all-star" death metal band featuring members of MALEVOLENT CREATION, HATE PLOW and KULT OV AZAZEL, will soon film a video for the song "Decreator". The track comes off THE EVIL AMIDST's debut album, "Lords Of The Nine", which was released digitally via iTunes on September 29, 2010. The album was produced by Brian Elliott (CANNIBAL CORPSE, VITAL REMAINS) at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Commented guitarist Gio Geraca: "'Decreator' is the song that embodies what THE EVIL AMIDST is all about. We feel it effortlessly combines the subgenres that influence us as a band and musicians, and we are looking forward to getting started on what we expect will be a dark and somewhat sinister video."

In other news, Geraca has landed an endorsement deal with Blackstorm Strings. He said, "These strings are absolutely made with metal in mind, and are by far the best-sounding 'metal' strings I've found!"

THE EVIL AMIDST is:

* Gus Rios (MALEVOLENT CREATION) - Drums
* Gio Geraca (MALEVOLENT CREATION) - Guitar
* Lenny Warmbrandt (HATEPLOW) - Vocals
* Xaphan (KULT OF AZAZEL) - Guitar
* Sean Young - Bass
