February 1, 2013Groovey of Hollywood Music Magazine conducted an interview with Los Angeles-based progressive death metal titans THE FACELESS at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 24-27 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. THE FACELESS last month parted ways with their drummer of the past five years, Lyle Cooper, "due to a growing difference in the level of commitment to the project." He has since been replaced by Alex Rudinger, who has previously played with THREAT SIGNAL and THE HAARP MACHINE.
THE FACELESS's third full-length album, "Autotheism", was issued on August 14, 2012 via Sumerian Records. The band's first release in over three years saw the group's leader, Michael Keene, enlist a new vocalist, bassist and additional guitarist to help him see his musical vision come to fruition and these new members have delivered tenfold.
