THE FLOOD To Resume Recording Full-Length Debut

August 8, 2009

Seattle, Washington-based heavy rockers THE FLOOD are preparing to resume recording their debut full-length album with Grammy Award-winning producer Sylvia Massy (TOOL, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, JOHNNY CASH, SMASHING PUMPKINS) at her Radiostar Studios in Weed, California. The CD will be released via the independent label Deify.

According to a press release, "THE FLOOD pours every ounce of sweat and blood into its music. The five-piece band layers intense visual effects into a dark vortex for its audience to dive inside, drawing comparisons to TOOL, KORN and the DEFTONES."

THE FLOOD is:

Chris Johnson - Vocals
Ajay Marshall - Guitar
Nate Minick - Drums
Jeff Eason - Bass
Darrick Jones - Beatboxer

THE FLOOD's video for the song "The Flood" can be viewed below. A major tour for this fall is in the works.
