THE GATHERING Confirmed For Belgium's METAL FEMALE VOICES FEST V

Holland's THE GATHERING has been confirmed for the Metal Female Voices Fest V, set to take place Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium. The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

A pre-festival show will take place on Friday, October 19 at the Oktoberhallen, featuring HOLY MOSES, DARZAMAT, DYLATH-LEEN and other guests.

A video clip of THE GATHERING performing the song "Waking Hours" at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Holland on September 19, 2006 has been posted online at Google Video. The complete live show is still available for streaming at Fabchannel.com.

THE GATHERING returned to the road in Europe last fall after they had to cancel the first month of their European "Homelands" tour back in April 2006 due to vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen suffering an obstinate bronchial and sinus infection.

THE GATHERING released its latest album, "Home", in April on The End Records.
