THE GATHERING Guitarist Selling Guitars, Amps On EBAY

November 24, 2005

THE GATHERING's founding member/guitarist René Rutten is selling some of his equipment on eBay this month. The guitarist recently bought new guitars and explains why he chose to sell some of his older gear on eBay:

"Yes! We are doing a clean-up! So we can start next year tour with fresh new gear! The guitars are for a long time here under my bed so I think someone else will be happy with these old beauties! For a long time I always wanted a left handed theremin, so that's why I sell this one. And for the amps and speakers I wanna go stereo next tour!"

The auctions began on November 20, 2005 and will end on November 30, 2005. The items up for sale are:

Gibson Flying V
Gibson Epiphone "explorer" black metallic 1985
Theremin "etherwave" from Bob Moog's Big Brair
KOCH powertone 120watt head
KOCH powertone 120watt head
1x Koch slanted cabinet 4x12inch
1x Koch straight cabinet 4x12inch
