THE HAUNTED Checks In From Finland

Swedish thrashers THE HAUNTED have issued the following update:

"Thank you! These shows [in Finland] have been fucking amazing. It's been colder than anyone not from the north could imagine, but still all you people showed up packing the venues!

"[Support act] BURST have been fucking crushing and we hope they can come out with us again as soon as possible, it's an honor sharing stage with such a great band!

"To our fans in Finland — thank you!

"You make it a joy and a privilige playing and you turn this into nothing but pure metal beauty in all it's weird serene havoc. Mosh crazed, headbanging insanity and scream-a-long. Holy shit, what can we say? Good folks, great local crews and amazing audiences.

"Peace y'all! We hope to see again on the Cursed Earth tour this spring.

"Next up now is North America... Suh-Wheat! Three weeks until we get on the plane and head out for 34 shows across the U.S. and Canada. Three more weeks of rest, then we go until we fall and have to break for a while.

"Sorry that we can't make Texas and South America on this run, but we aim to keep touring through fall as well. Hopefully then there will be a way to get to you folks as well!

"Take care of yourselves, folks. No one else will and we hope to see you out there!"

The Century Family's inaugural Metal For The Masses tour, which will be co-headlined by Swedish titans THE HAUNTED and DARK TRANQUILLITY, with INTO ETERNITY and SCAR SYMMETRY rounding out the stellar bill, will kick off March 19 in Orlando, Florida.

THE HAUNTED's dynamic new offering, "The Dead Eye", sees the band effectively combine elements of their previous efforts while exploring new ideas to continuously challenge themselves. The new effort was recorded in Denmark at Antfarm Studios with renowned producer Tue Madsen (HIMSA, SICK OF IT ALL) and is being hailed as their most accomplished work yet. The group shot a new video for "The Flood" with renowned director Roger Johansson (ARCH ENEMY, IN FLAMES),and it is definitely a clip that stands out from the pack. Click here to check it out.
