THE HAUNTED Forced To Pull Out Of MACHINE HEAD's U.S. Tour

April 7, 2005

Swedish thrashers THE HAUNTED have dropped off MACHINE HEAD's upcoming States Turn Blue To Gray North American tour, informed sources have told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. THE HAUNTED's cancellation is said to be the result of guitarist Patrik Jensen's desire to spend time with his very sick father back home in Sweden.

Jensen was recently forced to leave the group's European tour with CRADLE OF FILTH early while the rest of the band completed the trek as a four-piece.

MACHINE HEAD have yet to announce a replacement act for the tour, which is also scheduled to include DEVILDRIVER and IT DIES TODAY.

THE HAUNTED have been confirmed for the second stage at this year's Ozzfest beginning on July 15 in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
