THE HAUNTED Frontman To Make Solo Acoustic Appearance In Hartford

October 10, 2005

Vocalist Peter Dolving from THE HAUNTED will reportedly make a solo acoustic appearance at a local open mic at Sully's Pub (www.sullyspub.com) in Hartford, Connecticut Monday night (Oct. 10) after playing with THE HAUNTED at the Webster Theatre in Hartford. "We are aiming to get him to play late so that people coming from the metal show may also be able to catch the acoustic set," a person familiar with the arrangement told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "For those not aware, Peter is an awesome songwriter with amazing solo material, which you can check out some of at www.dolving.org. This is an informally arranged thing that both the bar and the performer have been cool enough to accomodate."

THE HAUNTED launched the Fury of the Fall North American headlining tour last week with MESHUGGAH, GOD FORBID and MNEMIC. The band have been annihilating the unsuspecting masses all summer long on Ozzfest while garnering a whole new legion of fans with their pummeling Swedish thrash metal assault and highly energetic live show. Their new video for "No Compromise", taken from their latest critically acclaimed offering "rEVOLVEr", was shot by acclaimed director Roger Johansson (IN FLAMES, SOILWORK). Look for it now on "Headbangers Ball" and "Metal Asylum".
