THE HAUNTED Singer To Guest On PREACHER EP

February 11, 2004

THE HAUNTED frontman Peter Dolving is in talks to record a guest vocal track on the upcoming EP from the Vancouver-based metal band PREACHER.

The disc, which is tentatively due later in the year, will also include guest appearances by guitarist Christofer Malmström (DARKANE) and drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen (THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND, GOD AWAKENS PETRIFIED).

Says Ryan, "I've heard all the songs with all the completed instrumental tracks (including Christofer's guitar solo. WOW!),and it sounds incredible."

The PREACHER EP is being produced and engineered by Jay Van Poederooyen (Ryan's brother). The group's official web site, fearthepreacher.com, will be completed in about a month's time.

In other Ryan Van Poederooyen-related news, the drummer is tentatively scheduled to record his tracks for Malmström's solo project NON-HUMAN LEVEL during the summer. The as-yet-untitled disc will reportedly feature additional appearances by MESHUGGAH bassist Gustaf Hielm and DARKANE drummer Peter Wildoer (on vocals!).
