THE HAUNTED To Begin Recording New Album In February
January 14, 2004Swedish thrashers THE HAUNTED will spend five weeks at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg in February/March recording their fourth full-length album, tentatively due late summer through an as-yet-undetermined label.
The group, who were recently rejoined by original vocalist Peter Dolving (MARY BEATS JANE, THE PETER DOLVING BAND) following the departure of Marco Aro, entered the studio today (January 14) for the pre-production of four new songs, according to a posting at their web site. New songtitles include "Almost Alive" and "Who Will Decide".
THE HAUNTED have fulfilled their contractual obligations to Earache Records and are expected to sign a new record deal during the coming months. The group's most recent album, "One Kill Wonder", was released last February.
