THE HEAVILS Continue Work On Sophomore Album

January 24, 2004

Illinois-based metal band THE HEAVILS have set the tentative track listing for their sophomore album, which is currently being recorded at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver, Canada with producer Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, LAMB OF GOD, DECEMBER). The follow-up to 2003's "The Heavils" will feature a guest appearance by CHEAP TRICK guitarist Rick Nielsen. A spring release through Metal Blade Records is expected.

"The album sounds crazy!" the band write in an official Metal Blade newsletter. "All the tracks are done and we just have vocals to do now. Devin and Shaun (worked on FEAR FACTORY and DEVILDRIVER) are putting us through the ringer. Brian tracked for 19 hours straight one night. SHAUN THINGVOLD IS A FUCKING COOL DUDE. It has been really interesting learning from him and Devin. They have so much knowledge between them and the sounds they are getting are truly original. They sound like no one else out there. We are going to freak people out with this release!"

The songtitles are as follows:

01. Outside the Circle
02. Sinking Time
03. Get Behind Me
04. Past Away
05. Reflection
06. Laundry Day
07. Touch
08. Chicken Soup Can
09. The Other Side
10. Space Heater
11. Heavilution
12. Floaters
