THE HEAVILS To Begin Recording With Producer DEVIN TOWNSEND

Metal Blade recording artists THE HEAVILS will begin tracking their sophomore album Thursday (January 8) at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver, Canada with producer Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, LAMB OF GOD, DECEMBER). The follow-up to 2003's "The Heavils" will feature a guest appearance by CHEAP TRICK guitarist Rick Nielsen. A spring release is expected.

In other news, THE HEAVILS will be opening for STRAPPING YOUNG LAD on Friday, January 16 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, British Columbia. Also appearing on the bill be THREE INCHES OF BLOOD.
