THE HIDDEN HAND: New Album Release Date Announced

November 4, 2006

THE HIDDEN HAND, the band featuring hard rock guitar legend Scott "Wino" Weinrich (ST. VITUS, THE OBSESSED, SPIRIT CARAVAN),has issued the following update:

"Our new record, 'The Resurrection of Whiskey Foote', is completed. It will be in stores on February 20. But we are doing a late-January-through-mid-February tour and we will have copies for sale at the shows, so stay tuned. We will be posting the tour route soon. It looks like we are starting in the south and heading west, coming back across the top and down. Most of these shows will feature Relapse recording artists RWAKE from Arkansas. We are in heavy rehearsals now with our new drummer Matt [Moulis] and all I can say is he is kicking some serious ass. He knows 15 songs now and we will be more than ready for a tentative D.C. show in late December. Also we are playing the second day of the Roadburn festival in Holland in April. This is shaping up to be the Euro Woodstock of our generation, featuring NEUROSIS, MELVINS, OM, BLUE CHEER, PELICAN, etc. Ready for a Dutch vacation? Don't we love Holland!!!!!?!!"

THE HIDDEN HAND's last release was the "Devoid of Color" hybrid CD/DVD package, which came out last year through Southern Lord.
