THE KANDIDATE: 'Let The Maggots Have It' Video Released

April 2, 2012

"Let The Maggots Have It", the new video from Danish thrash metallers THE KANDIDATE (formerly THE DOWNWARD CANDIDATE),can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's sophomore album, "Facing The Imminent Prospect Of Death", which was released in January via Napalm Records.

According to a press release, "Facing the Imminent Prospect of Death" "continues to deliver the band's characteristic vigor and intensity. Songs like 'Total War', 'Let The Maggots Have It' and 'Fucked In The Search For Life' speak a stern language dominated by heavy riffs and all-destroying grooves sure to cause more than one case of whiplash. The band's sound also includes death and hardcore elements that give the album a newfound energy. The recording, mixing, and mastering were personally overseen by Jacob Bredahl himself. His expertise is apparent in the resulting release. 'Facing The Imminent Prospect Of Death' is a brutal riff rapid-fire barrage to be most enthusiastically received in the mosh pit!"
