THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE Parts Ways With Bassist, Announces Replacement

February 5, 2010

Dutch death metallers THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE have parted ways with bassist Michael Grunwald and have replaced him with Sander Keuls. The band states, "Sander is the personification of death 'n' roll itself, [and] we couldn't wish for a better substitute."

THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE is currently working on material for its third album. According to the band, "the songs that are close to completion sound very intense already."

THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE's second album, "Welcome To Bloodshed", was released in May 2009 via Apache Productions in collaboration with Suburban distribution. The follow-up to 2007's "Pitch Black Dawn" features artwork by Sieger Miedema and a guest appearance by GOD DETHRONED vocalist Henry Sattler. The digipack version of the CD includes the "Graveyard Ave." video.

THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE's "The Burial" video can be viewed below. The clip was shot with Arno Zuidgeest of Holland's Arnoo Videoproducties.
