THE MUDDPIGGS Record New Material

June 25, 2006

Vocalist/guitarist Al Hodge of TUNGSTEN/THE MUDDPIGGS has issued the following update:

"Since we've been in Texas, we've been working our asses of to get back to where our lives where before the storm and the last two months have proved that the Katrina hiccup is over!

"THE MUDDPIGGS have recorded two new songs: 'Super Rockin' Girl' and 'Midnight Mother Fucker', which is an ode to all our drinking pandas from here in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

"We plan on recording the rest of our tunes and to have a record out before the end of the year. I'm also headed to Louisiana next month to work on some more TUNGSTEN tunes for the sixth, as-yet-untitled record.

"I think a lot of the bands that have been affected by Hurricane Katrina are ready to get back out there and start making some noise again."
